The Kirintec team have been involved in the development of jammer
technologies since terrorists began using remotely controlled improvised
explosive devices (RCIED) in the 1970s.
A large number of the vehicle borne electronic counter measure
(ECM) systems deployed by military forces in active theatres of operation use
features created by Kirintec staff.
Building on these credentials, Kirintec is designing the next
generation of powerful, scaleable and reliable inhibition systems, with a
particular focus on usability, integration, and through-life costs.

ECM Test Facility
We have our own indoor, screened ECM test
facility which we use for system and waveform development in free space and for
calibrating antenna designs. The facility is large enough to take a vehicle, so
we are uniquely placed to demonstrate our systems working against representative
targets over a distance of more than 120m.
