iProTxS enables soldiers and protection agencies to continue communicating while operating in a heavily saturated electronic countermeasure (ECM) jamming environment
iProTxS is the Xchange communications-through-inhibition technology developed by Kirintec and now licensed to Exelis (see public announcement on our News page)
iProTxS is embedded functionaliy in Kirintec’s MERCURY vehicle and man-portable jammers to provide integrated secure communications between existing in-service radios deployed in an environment where MERCURY electronic countermeasures systems are operating.
iProTxS can also be purchased as a separate plug-in unit from Exelis and easily retro-fitted to existing in-service ECM equipment on both vehicular and dismounted platforms.
iProTxS is a self-contained system easily configurable with in-service ECM and existing fielded radio systems. A single iProTxS can be paired with as many radio systems as required by adding an iProTxS Lite to each dismounted or mounted radio system within the ECM system’s area of operation. This versatile system supports radios in the VHF and UHF frequency bands including Combat Net Radio in fixed frequency and frequency hopping modes, and radios using commercial standards such as TETRA and PMR.
