XCHANGE

XCHANGE is a retro-fit solution to enable communications between existing in-service radios deployed in an environment where electronic countermeasures systems are operating.

Xchange must be installed on both the fielded ECM system that creates the inhibition bubble and on any fielded radios that need to operate within that bubble.

A small Xchange Box retro-fits to any vehicle installed or dismounted ECM system and co-hosted radio systems.  A tiny Xchange Patch can be retro-fit to any additional radios in the vicinity, allowing them to be “paired” with and protected from the ECM system.
A group of overlapping ECM systems (e.g. in a vehicle convoy) can all be fitted with synchronised Xchange Boxes to enable communication throughout their combined ECM bubble.

All radios interfaced to the Xchange Box or fitted with an Xchange Patch can communicate with each other inside the ECM bubble and with any radios outside the bubble.  Any hostile (or friendly) radio or radio-controlled device inside the ECM bubble not fitted with Xchange will continue to be jammed.

The Xchange Box and Patch are relatively small, flexible in terms of location, and draw minimal power.  Xchange does not impair the performance and functionality of either the ECM system or the paired radios.

Retro-fitting Xchange avoids the need to upgrade or replace existing radio or ECM equipment in order to achieve communication.

Retro-fitting Xchange enables the purchase any new radio or ECM equipment without having to worry about radio interference or potential ECM vulnerability.

Xchange uses unique patented technology.  It does not employ any notch filtering or frequency translation techniques.

Precise details about Xchange are commercially protected and classified.
