33 Engineer Regiment – what a lovely thank you!

This summer we were approached by 821 EOD and Search Squadron, 33 Engineer Regiment (EOD) to donate to one of their events.

We always endeavour to support charitable work that is close to our heart. We recognise that courageous personnel around the world put their lives on the line every day for their respective country. This is all line with keeping us safe and helping to counter terror activities while trying to render safe a device. In turn we were more than happy to assist 33 Engineer Regiment (EOD) when they reached out to us for a donation for their charity event which supported a trio of charities connected to our EOD community.

The event that was organised by 821 EOD (Explosive Ordnance Disposal) and Search Squadron, 33 Engineer Regiment was held to raise money for BD75 was donated to:

·         The British Limbless Ex Serviceman’s Association (BLESMA)

·         The Royal Engineers Benevolent Fund

·         Walking with the Wounded.

The aim is to raise £75K between the three charities, so we were more than happy to support their family day this summer.

Meanwhile at Kirintec we will continue to do our bit in helping to raise these charities profile and hopefully encourage others to do the same.

We were extra thrilled to have such a thoughtful thank you letter this morning from 33 Engineer Regiment concerned with Explosive Ordnance Disposal.
