We’re proud to be supporting the inaugural Felix Fest on 3 October 2015 on private land in Silchester.
The Felix Fund is a registered charity which exists to support any military personnel (and their families) who have conducted or assisted with bomb disposal duties and the first ever Felix Fest is on the horizon.
Their current focus is funding therapeutic normalisation breaks to help bomb disposal teams readjust to life in the UK after serving in Afghanistan. They also raising money for welfare and rehabilitation facilities and building a hardship fund for all; supporting many injured and bereaved and those who have fallen on hard times as part of their ‘bomb disposal family’.
The event is open to only over 18’s (ID needed if you are lucky to look it!). You can look forward to:
• Live music
• Cash bar/hot food in aid of the Felix Fund (Sunday morning bacon butties will be sold)
• Rugby being screened – so there’s no need to miss out!
• Camping and partying
Note that as it is farmland glass, open fires, disposable BBQs or gas camping stoves are not permitted within the camp site.
