We’re re-certified for ISO9001:2008 quality system

We provide a broad spectrum of quality products to the global defence and security world.

Kirintec is re-certified for our ISO9001:2008 quality management system – ‘A very well run facility’. We are recognised for providing a wide spectrum of quality products to the global defence and security Market, based on its own depth knowledge and experience.

Although best known for our Electronic Countermeasures (ECM), Kirintec are fast gathering a reputation for supplying both ‘off-the-shelf’ and bespoke kits of Explosive Ordnance Disposal (EOD) tools and other tactical items, all for the Counter-IED and counter-threat markets.

As you may well imagine, it is a serious business.

Just like ‘business development’ being part of everyone’s job description, so is quality management. It requires the very highest levels of skilled management coupled with well designed and understood procedures. These must be occur systematically in how we design and what we procure, prototype, manufacture and deliver. It must also incorporate best practise from all industry – even outside the defence and security sector. Hence being reviewed by a highly qualified external assessor.

ISO9001:2008 is about the team I work with, being able to consistently demonstrate that our product portfolio meets these exacting customer and statutory requirements and that we respond quickly and efficiently to their feedback.  This means that here at Kirintec, we are driven to enhance customer satisfaction through applying our ISO9001:2008 quality system.

What’s more, it is about striving towards continual improvements of such systems we have adopted for years. This is something our customers can be reassured of; quality really matters to us all at Kirintec, as we are passionate about delivering better than we promised.

For these reasons, I am genuinely pleased to inform our customers that we have had this certification renewed. As further reassurance, our customers should know that we have systems in place for review. This means we have internal audits, where any resulting actions are always completed in a timely manner or investigated fully if they don’t.

I would like to take this opportunity to thank all colleagues and suppliers for their support. Without whom, our accreditation to ISO9001:2008 would not have been granted once more.  Now to incorporate the new procedures from ISO9001:2015!
