Kirintec is a CIM finalist

I am delighted to announce Kirintec has been short-listed as a finalist in the Chartered Institute of Marketing (CIM) Excellence Awards 2016.

We are overwhelmed to be short-listed in the Brand Management – SME (Small to Medium Enterprise) category, amid eleven amazing other finalists.

Every year CIM celebrates those who have showcased excellence in their field. It is an honour to be recognised as the only defence and security finalist for our category.

Our industry is traditionally secretive. We have dared to show some personality (believe me there’s plenty in these offices!), reaching out through our brand with the experience we offer our stakeholders.

Without wonderful colleagues and suppliers this wouldn’t have been possible. I want to take this opportunity to formerly acknowledge everyone who is clearly so passionate about our brand experience. Together you have helped to shape our beautiful brand and grow it. I am sure that is partially why we are so well placed within our industry today.

For more than 100 years, CIM has been supporting, representing and developing marketers, teams, leaders and the profession. I am testament to this. I have been mentored by former colleagues, who have added to my marketing knowledge throughout my career.

CIM is visionary in so far that they want marketing to play a pivotal role in a business. Constantly harnessing, integrating and acting on intelligence.

We are a small marketing team in Kirintec. The truth is as an SME we don’t have a big marketing budget. But, we have strived to use every ounce of our resourcing available. From knowledge, time and each pound we invest, it is to help drive forward our growing innovative business, in the counter terrorism sector.

In my team we love marketing. We love our Kirintec brand. Hopefully in reading today’s blog, you can sense just how proud we are to be a Marketing Excellence Award 2016 finalist.

Acting chief executive of CIM Chris Daly announced the finalists of the Marketing Excellence Awards, he commented: “We’ve seen some fantastic entries this year and it is already clear that this will be a great representation of our industry’s hard work over the past 12 months. The finalists are varied, innovative and showcase a range of high quality campaigns. The point in these awards is to remind us why we do what we do, and to demonstrate the impact that creative and well-delivered marketing can have across businesses.”

Thank you, if you are compelled to share, like or comment on our thrilling news. Undoubtedly for me it is one of my career highlights.

Meanwhile we are looking forward to the awards ceremony on 14 April 2016.
