Summer round-up from team Kirintec

Depending on how you define them there are 24 or 25 time zones around the world; this weekend saw us move our clocks in the UK back by one hour according to GMT, reverting back to lighter mornings and darker evenings at our Ross HQ this prompted us to prepare a summer round-up.

As the end of summer is now official, we’ve asked our efficient Operations Manager Nigel Whitman to look back and talk about some of his Kirintec summer highlights in the way of a summer round-up.

Nigel reflects:

Operationally we are busier than ever.

The team I work in has a close eye on ensuring that our ISO 9001 accreditation status runs through everything we do. We provide consistency and quality – so for us it is important that we maintain and make new supplier relations to ensure component product parts provide excellence every time to provide nothing but the best end product(s).

As a team we were proud to launch BLADE 5 this summer. This is our most sophisticated flexible and powerful vehicle platform for jamming yet.

This technology offers our customers even more power, more flexibility and more assurance when operating in a complex, asymmetric threat environment. We have been exceptionally busy ensuring that every detail was cared for with this.

The team has also been particularly active with international shows in the defence and security market – we make sure everything is shipped to and from these in a timely manner.

While the sales guys usually attend these, I went along to DSEI to meet with some of our many stakeholders. From a personal viewpoint it was great to see our new look exhibition stand first hand and how busy the team was.

Team Kirintec launched our new look website this August… so it is with some intrepidation I am posting my very first blog on it with Kirintec today. Inevitably our marketing ladies will be sharing it on our social media streams, so please be sure to be nice with your feedback!

As I would like to keep my inaugural post short, I would like to finish on a fun highlight; we recently had our team summer bbq – see, we are a social lot at Kirintec. We work hard and play hard. We all made good use of our fire pit-cum-beast of a grill, and our MD generously donned his chef’s gear to make some super steak sandwiches. This was all washed down with a very welcome beer (or two).

So cheers, here’s to a busy season ahead and perhaps we will leap from a summer round-up to a winter one soon!
