With less than a month to go until it is Armistice or Remembrance Day, it remains important to us at Kirintec to raise the profile of the work that the Royal British Legion (RBL) do.
Their welfare work is a lifeline for thousands of serving and ex-Service people and as organisation working with the defence and security community we are proud to support them. The eleventh hour of the eleventh day of the eleventh month is just one way the charity highlights the plight of others annually.
This year we have agreed to have a RBL collection box in our reception this year for the poppy appeal and will be urging colleagues and visitors to our headquarters at Ross-on-Wye to give generously.
On a personal note, being married to someone who is in the Forces, as a couple we will be attending a special service and in our way marking all the fallen heroes and at the forefront of our minds will be those who every day put themselves forward to protect us.
For me in my home life and where my organisation designs products to save life – the value of life is clearly highlighted. I am all too aware of the sacrifices others make on a daily basis.
With this in mind, I would like to signpost the Royal British Legion’s donation page and thank you on their behalf for anything you can donate, whether this be for Remembrance Day or the other days each year. As it is not just about the 11 November, we should remember the fallen the whole year.
